Growing up between Indian and Swiss cultures, Shirin, better known as KOBRAGYPSY, developed a versatile and open-minded approach to music early on, allowing her to move naturally between different sounds, scenes and atmospheres. Inspired by the musical influences of her childhood, she quickly found her own path in music, leading her to major national and international stages.
Today, KOBRAGYPSY is one of Switzerland's most in-demand open format DJs, known for blending urban music with timeless classics, creating sets that feel both fresh and familiar. Recognised for her instinctive crowd reading and strong musical storytelling, she builds sets around emotion, energy and atmosphere rather than being defined by one genre.
Over the years, she has performed at renowned festivals including Openair Frauenfeld, Gurtenfestival, OpenAir St. Gallen and Royal Arena Festival, while also opening for artists such as Wu-Tang Clan, Akon and Ne-Yo and playing Drake's official afterparty. In 2026, she joins the Helene Fischer 360° Stadion Tour as official tour DJ, performing in front of audiences of up to 90,000 people per show.
